Day 2 - L.A.

Today we had planned to visit Hollywood Boulevard and the Hollywood sign, but were convinced to sign up to a full day tour. Of course, he took some commission, but it was worth it in the end, as we saw a lot more of L.A. than we would have done on our own. You really can't explore this city without a car, and public transport is lacking!

Breakfast was McDonalds of course!

We started off at the Marina del Ray, then hit Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Rodeo Drive, Hollywood Boulevard and the Hollywood sign, Beverly Hills, the Farmers Market and the main Downtown district. Like I said, we saw a lot!

Lunch was at the Farmers Market and was both savory and sweet crepes! This was where we almost left a family behind because they were 20 minutes late! They had no idea how lucky they were!

Day 1 - L.A.

We landed in LA on the 27th May feeling incredibly tired after the ~10 hour flight. Inflight entertainment was lacking in choice compared to some airlines, but we got by and had decent seats.

The hotel was situated 10 minutes from the airport and was chosen by Intrepid/Suntrek as the pick up location for the tour.

Suffering from jet lag, we decided to have a quiet afternoon chilling in the hotel watching some American TV. The American Office is not very good, and is on a lot!

Dinner was room service ( 1st time for me ) and we hit the hay early as we had a busy day planned for day two!!
